Summary:
The Nelson Tasman area remains under Metservice weather warning this afternoon, although the worst appears to have passed. Rain has eased considerably this afternoon and the high winds forecast have not eventuated.

Metservice advise that the Nelson Tasman region is still under a weather warning. For Nelson west of Motueka, in the 6 hours from 9am Monday, Metservice say to expect a further 20 to 40mm of rain on top of what has already fallen.

Please Note: Roads with an OPEN status have been made passable. This does not mean that all culverts are cleared or that road has been cleared to original width. Further reinstatement works are required to address edge support, surface quality, drainage, debris removal from above the road.
