Heavy rain warning extended 11 October
A front is expected to move east across New Zealand today and during Friday morning bringing a burst of heavy rain to many areas. The heaviest falls are expected in northwest Nelson where a heavy rain warning is now in force.

Area: Northwest Nelson
Valid: 13 hours from 9:00am to 10:00pm Thursday
Forecast: Expect a further 60 to 80mm to accumulate during this time, especially about the ranges, in addition to rain that has already accumulated. Peak intensities of 10 to 20mm per hour.
