Thursday 22 February 2018 1700 hrs

Essential supplies have arrived at Port Tarakohe and response teams have spent the day going door-to-door in Riwaka, Brooklyn and surrounding areas.

The state of emergency remains in place as the region deals with the impacts of Cyclone Gita. Latest information follows.
